Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros

The Empyrean · Book 3

Beyond the wards, survival demands more than dragon fire.

Violet Sorrengail has survived the brutal training at Basgiath War College. But surviving the battlefield will demand something far more dangerous than anything her lessons could prepare her for.

With enemies drawing closer and Navarre’s defences weakening, strength alone will not be enough. The truth remains buried, allies are desperately needed, and every unanswered question could carry a deadly cost.

Forced beyond the protection of the wards, Violet must search for those willing to stand beside Navarre before its enemies tear everything apart. Far from safety, her power will be tested against threats she cannot afford to underestimate. Every alliance is a gamble. Every secret makes trust more fragile.

For her dragons, her family, and the man she refuses to abandon, Violet is willing to risk everything. But the secret she carries could threaten the very people she is fighting to protect.

Rebecca Yarros returns to the world of Fourth Wing and Iron Flame with dragon-bound loyalties, dangerous magic, and a war that leaves little room for mercy.
